Office/Clerical - Sales & Estimating Assistant

Job Description

This position requires an above average knowledge of MS Office Suite (primarily Excel Spread Sheets), knowledge of File Management systems, and familiarty with sales and profitability. Ideal candidate should have experience as an Office Clerk/Assistant/Adminstrator with a history of great oral and written communication skills. Canidate must be willing to learn these applications as they apply to the Automotive Supply business.


Position Overview:

  • Paper File Management
  • Ability to take direction and follow up task to completion
  • Receive RFQ's, Quotes, PO's and other documents, create electronic and paper files
  • Update quote spread sheets, regarding time of quote, cost quoted and pertinent comments
  • Keep a status of all proposals in process until a win, loss or re-quote has been determined
  • Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts as well as advanced job practices, techniques and standards



  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Excellent Planning, organization, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
